Placing an order

You can place an order online at any time, however September through till the end of March is the best time for sending bareroot plants by post.

We are only able to deliver to the UK and Northern Ireland.

Orders placed outside this time, will be held and then dispatched after flowering and of course we will contact you in this instance.

The daylily really gets going in April and May ready to bloom from early until late summer depending on variety.  You are welcome to collect potted cultivars at any time by arrangement, but bear in mind the pricing is different for potted daylilies.  See our 'visit us' page for all our open weekend dates - end of June and the whole of July.

Technically, we could send bareroot plants from April to August, but what a shame to cut the flower stems!  Do get in touch to discuss this as you may prefer a voucher if you are buying daylilies as a present hello@newhopedaylilies.co.uk

Strikes and misfortune:

We hope any disputes within Royal Mail will not affect your service. But there were issues in 2022 and we have to be prepared for this. Luckily, daylilies are amazingly tolerant about transportation. Their roots (rhizomes) hold enough nourishment to cope with a strike or misdirection should either occur.  We’ve even heard tales from the States where an order of bareroot daylilies was stuck in customs for six months - when they finally arrived, the owner soaked them for several days and once planted they went on to make a blooming miraculous recovery - such is the nature of this hardy perennial.

Returns:

If you change your mind about a purchase, let us know as soon as possible (within 14 days) via hello@newhopedaylilies.co.uk  We can then get in touch about how to return the goods.
